Finding a Path
Sai On's mission centers on developing pedagogical methods that remain relevant across AI's rapid evolution. Rather than training educators on specific tools that are certain to advance and change in nature and utility, we foster instructional practices that are adaptive over the long term. Our approach emphasizes fundamental human capacities—critical thinking, collaborative inquiry, and reflective dialogue—that become richer and all the more varied as AI capabilities expand. By grounding our methods in enduring educational principles while embracing technological possibility, we help schools build methods that keep pace with the times.
Growing in Place
We at Sai On believe that effective AI integration happens through co-designing and implementing with educators at their unique sites. Our cohort model brings together 4-6 core teachers who become turnkey leaders within their schools, developing methods for working with AI tools that serve their unique student populations and school cultures. Through intensive cohort experiences, these educator-leaders then guide school-wide implementation. This collaborative process ensures that AI integration enhances rather than disrupts the distinctive educational vision that defines each school.
Founder’s Message
Welcome to Sai On Consulting!
My path to this work began in secondary English classrooms, where I spent years developing curriculum and supporting student literacy. Those classroom experiences taught me that the most meaningful learning happens when students engage actively with ideas, question assumptions, and collaborate.
As artificial intelligence fundamentally transforms how we access and process information, we are compelled to devise new ways of teaching and learning. In speaking with teachers, however, I see there uncertainty and confusion in facing this radical new technology. Adapting change requires listening to teachers and helping them develop their own best methods that honor tried and true pedagogical principles within emerging possibilities.
Sai On Consulting reflects my conviction that AI integration should center the human experience of learning, enhancing and broadening it. I look forward to working with educator communities to develop practices that prepare students for a world where intelligence is plural and growth is unconstrained.
